A charming and lively unoaked Chardonnay. This has lots of classic varietal character, which expresses very fresh and fruit-led, with notes of lemon curd, ripe pear, white flowers and a lovely long salinity on the finish. It spent 9 months on the fine lees, giving it a creamy mouthfeel perfectly balanced with a streak of acidity. This wine is just a pleasure to drink.
Made in collaboration between Loïc Bulliat, who run this family estate covering 27 hectares across 8 different crus in the heart of the Beaujolais region, and Thomas Collonge who makes the wines in his family cellar in Morgon. The grapes are cultivated organically, and a minimal intervention approach is employed both in and out of the vineyard.
