Victoria Torres Pecis - Noroeste 2022

(La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain)

A blend of Listan Negro, Listan Prieto, and a little Negramoll, all from the Island's North West. A fruit-led medium bodied red with notes of berries and apples at the core, savoury layers, and a lovely saline edge.

Victoria Torres is one of the very few growers still producing wine on La Palma. The work is painstaking and the yields are minuscule, but the results are more than worth the effort. She makes wines that have it all - a strong sense of place, intense complexity, buckets of energy, and that little extra 'magic' that you can't learn or replicate.
