Another exceptional single vineyard wine from the Schödl estate, this one born out of an especially beautiful harvest from their Saatzen vineyard. It has deep gravel soils, which encourages deep rooted vines with more aromatically concentrated berries. The stones warm during the day and release heat at night, creating even ripening in the grapes. This has incredible varietal character and energy, crisp and clean citrus on the palate and petrol and honey on the nose. 

Made by the Schödl siblings Viktoria, Mathias and Leonhard, who took over a family estate, converted it to biodynamics, changed the style completely and are now one of very few producers rewriting the story of the Weinviertel with world class wines.
