'Fortune Cookie' is a series of one-off experiments that Maya and Nicolas do every single year depending on what the conditions are and what the vintages has gifted them. In this case it is a 100% Merlot, vinified 100% whole bunch and aged in concrete. The result is epic... On the lighter side but still powerful, with an explosive aromatic and lean but complex character on the palate. Truly special. 

Domaine La Calmette was started in 2015 by Maya & Nicolas, a talented couple who bring not only a thorough knowledge of viticulture but also a meticulously researched scientific backbone to their natural wines. Explosive, bursting with life and vibrancy.
