Entre Vinyes - Dins L'ou 2022

A wonderfully expressive orange Muscat from very old vineyards in the Foix natural park. These low-yielding vines produce concentrated grapes that lead to a lovely complexity and refined nature in the finished product. After harvest the grapes are transferred directly into clay egg vessels, where fermentation occurs spontaneously, and undergoes 9 months of skin maceration within the eggs, ultimately being bottled without pressing. This extended maceration gives it deep varietal expression, texture and complexity, with notes of dried apricot and dried herbs, balanced with the floral radiance of Muscat. 

Made by Maria & Pep, a couple who started from scratch in 2012 after taking over some old vineyards, and have slowly built this project into the successful and experimental winery it is today
