Domaine La Calmette - Noual Brut Nature 2024

Another incredible sparkling from Domaine La Calmette, this time made entirely from the rare Noual grape. Noual is the only indigenous grape variety of the Lot region, long believed to have disappeared at the end of
the 19 century due to Phylloxera. It was later identified on two trellises In the village, propagated and is now beginning to reappear, although there is less than 1ha planted in the world. This ethereal wine was made to celebrate this revival, and highlight the effervescent qualities of this rare variety.

Domaine La Calmette was started in 2015 by Maya & Nicolas, a talented couple who bring not only a thorough knowledge of viticulture but also a meticulously researched scientific backbone to their natural wines. Explosive, bursting with life and vibrancy.
