Domaine Entras - Colina Oeste 2019

(Gascony, France)

A special full/medium red made from old vines of Tannat, Malbec, and Merlot. The wine is aged in 600L barrels for over a year before being bottled with zero additions and aged in a bottle for a couple more years before releases. Buckets of spice, layers of flavour, and a long, lingering finish. A true expression of the Southwest. 

Made by Michel Maestrojuan, a third generous farmer in the Côtes de Gascogne in Southwest France. A champion of biodiversity, he farms various crops alongside vines, and the entirety of the estate is certified biodynamic.
