100% Colombard. The idea behind this wine was to create something unique and celebrate the underappreciated workhorse grapes of South Africa, giving abandoned vineyards new purpose. South Africa is home to the world's largest area of Colombard planting, but it all generally goes towards distillation and brandy production. 

Daniel Colombo is a leading light in the new wave of South African producers, bringing new ideas and energy to the vibrant landscape. His work is rooted in sustainable agriculture and low intervention winemaking, and often chooses to work with fruit sourced from abandoned vineyards, and with heritage grape varieties that have played roles in the history of the South African wine industry.
