Clos Sauvage - 'Naif' PET NAT 2024

Absolutely delicious natural sparkling wine from Saint Véran in Southern Burgundy. This unusual blend of Gamay and Chardonnay grapes is a very light almost coppery colour, and delights with its soft fizz, light red and citrus fruits, and a lovely texture. Burgundian pet nat at it's finest.

Sophie and David of Clos Sauvage have been making wine in a beautiful corner of their region at 450m of altitude on the exact border between Burgundy and Beaujolais since 2018. Their aim from the start has been to create an autonomous farm where vines are grown alongside many other products, where cows and horses roam on adjacent pastures, where bees are kept, and where farmstays are possible.
