Clos des Plantes - Non Solus 2022

(Anjou, Loire, France)

Non Solus is the first wine made from new vines planted in 2021/2022. It's grown on a unique vein of rhyolite and quartz that is also the highest altitude of any of Olivier's plots, sitting at 200m. This gives it a chiselled line of minerality that runs throughout, with aromas of green apple, pear and lemon tempered with wet stone. Bright, precise acidity, and a long saline finish that is an incredible expression of it's unique terroir 

Made by Olivier Lejeune, a Lille native who lived and worked all over the world before finally settling in the Loire and coming across some prized parcels in the Montbenault region of Anjou. In the space of a few short years he has already established himself as one of the most sought-after young producers in the region, and deservedly so.
