Chateau de Lébron - Vin Muté Merlot NV

A richly textured fortified sweet Merlot, crafted by blending the Merlot grape must with the estate's own Armagnac for mutage. One thirds Armagnac to two-thirds Merlot, it has a beautiful deep ruby colour, and complex yet vibrant palate with notes of fruit and berry sitting alongside honeyed caramel and subtle notes of oak and light-spiced tobacco. Perfectly paired with an after-dinner cheese plate and a cigar.

Made by the Rozès family at Château de Léberon, a historic Armagnac estate now run by twin sisters Sophie and Caroline. With a philosophy rooted in purity—no sugar, coloring, or additives—their winemaking remains elemental and honest, yielding wines of striking character and depth.
