Azul y Garanza - Suelo Vivo Tinto 2023

A brand new wine from the Azul y Garanza team. 'Suelo Vivo' translates to 'living soil,' in reference to their natural farming ethos. This Garnacha is lightly extracted, and spends a small amount of time in contact with Moscatel skins to give it a touch more of an aromatic lift. It's light and juicy yet does retain some structure, making a very versatile wine for pairings and for various occasions.

Made by Maria, Dani, and Fernando, a dynamic trio who slowly converted an abandoned cooperative building in their village of Carcastillo to a fully operational winery. A huge commitment to biodiversity in the vines leads to wines of pronounced purity.
