Alex Craighead is known for his innovative use of blending, and the fruit-forwardness of Gamay, the delicacy and spiciness of Pinot Noir, and the savoury length and brightness of Pinot Gris to make a stunning red that expertly balances complexity and drinkability.  

Alex Craighead has been one of the leading figures in New Zealand’s move towards organic viticulture and low-intervention winemaking over the past decade, known for his Kindeli project. His new range of Home wines began as a separate, entirely estate-grown range: a more focused expression of the place Alex and Josefina have spent years farming and understanding. These wines are now evolving into Alex Craighead Wines.
