This is one of his more intensive wines, with 5 days of skins and 18 months in an 800l aging Qvevri, making a grippy and full bodied orange with high tannins and acidity, and a long finish with notes of dried fruit, honey and tea. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGeorge Wolski is the winemaker behind the Andrias Gvino project, named his son, with roots in his families small cellar in the village of Khasmi. While commercial winemaking was prohibited in the Soviet era, like many Georgians his grandfather grew and made wine for the family in the traditional style, using just three Qvevri. After their passing George walked away from a career as telecom CEO to follow their path.
