Valdibella on Regenerative Agriculture and their Social Mission

by nic

Valdibella are one of more unique projects that we work with - an organic cooperative in western Sicily founded in 1998 by five growers whose aim was to spread the influence of organic farming while taking part in social projects on the island. Since then, the cooperative has grown considerably though they never deviated from their original philosophy. If anything, they have gotten even more dedicated to pushing boundaries in natural farming, and continue their inspiring social work and educational drive.

The brilliant folks at Deep Seed Podcast recently filmed a brilliant interview with one of Valdibella’s founders, Massimiliano Solano, which we have embedded below. It is a deeply inspiring watch and a thorough look behind the scenes at Valdibella. In it, Massimiliano talks about the history of the cooperative, their view of what regenerative agriculture means and the future of farming, their social mission, equality and fairness, and much more.
